Little Hearts School

MEEDS runs a school called Little Hearts where youngsters from the orphanage are provided with education. Youth from families in the community that cannot afford to pay for education are welcomed here. The children are thought a curiculum that enable them to write the same exams that children in state public schools write.

We would like to focus on keeping this project minimalistic in terms of certain material resources like desks, computers and other modern equipment considered standard in developed schools. Instead we wish to increase the reach of the school and bring in more educators as well as invest in space that would allow for more children to attend.

We wish to maintain a "bootstrap" startup philiosophy by creative improvisation to provide results. Our purpose here is to provide education and a safe learning environment for young minds. Our bootstrap philosophy is to teach how to learn rather than what to learn.
